I got a used S&W 442 WITHOUT the lock today!
It was made in approx 1992, so its not +P rated, but I can live with it. It even came with the original box, which is a little banged up, but in good shape.
The gun its self is easily 95%+, the finish has only 2-3 faint marks on it, the turn ring is minimal, so I'm guessing it wasn't shot much. There also isn't much build-up on the face of the cylinder either, nor are there wear marks from cleaning on the face either. Bore is great, timing is great, and it locks up VERY tight, might be the best locking cylinder on any of my revolvers.
Heres the best part...the gunshop was having a sale and it was originally listed for $330, which is a decent price in its own. But the sale price was $265! And I paid $285 out the door!
I wasn't planning on buying this, as I have a 332 already, but it was just such a good deal, on a great gun. I'll add pics later when I get home.
