Greatest Hunting books

This may belong somewhere else but i dont love reading books about guns. What is some of the best hunting literature you have enjoyed. Im sure we'll hear Capstick and Roosevelt books but what are some of the titles that were really good page turners and try to give a little info about the book.

On the not so serious side, anything by Pat McManus.

my two favorites are a Sand county almanac by Aldo Leupold and
"if you didn't bring jerky then what did I just eat" by Bill Heavey.
I found both to be very enteraining and I keep one or the other in my day pack for the tree stand.

Caution I have found myself laughing to myself a little loud in the stand reading Heavey.

+1 on Capstick. I was fortunate enough to have met him years ago, started collecting them and have most autographed. Hell of a nice guy. We even shared a "sundowner" or two. Maybe three......................

I enjoy a good hunting tale as well as anyone, but sometimes pictures speak in a way words never could. This series of coffee table books from Safari Press called "Great Hunters, Their trophy rooms & Collections" is simply jaw dropping. Four volume set is a must see....Volume 5 is soon to be released.
