I am looking to get a new suppressor. I currently have the AAC Element 2, a Silencerco/SWR Octane 9, a Silencerco Octane45, and an SRT Arms integrally suppressed 9mm AR. I am interested in the Optimus as it seems to have a lot of flexibility (.22LR-.300WinMag and up to 9mm pistol).

I would likely use the Optimus on .300 Blackout and .223 ARs primarily. I think it would be nice to have it for redundancy with regards to my other suppressors.

Anyways, I've seen the YouTube reviews and everyone seems to view it in a favorable light. However, I am curious to hear how everyone here like their's.

I am slightly torn between the Griffin Optimus and getting a dedicated .30 can. It seems like the Optimus can do everything that a dedicated .30 suppressor can, but with the added benefit of being able to be reconfigured and attached to firearms of other calibers; it seems almost too good to be true. What disadvantages does the Optimus have when compared to a dedicated .30 can? What are the best dedicated .30 cans out there today?
