Ok, I'll bite, ballpark price would be??

Well, it's been 7 years or so since I bought mine; so my memory is uncertain and I'm guessing at inflation--but if I had to replace mine I'd expect to pay between 1 and 3 hundred bucks (yeah, you can really go all in if you go for the highest grade of figured & fancy woods; but the 'cheapest' ones perform as well as the fanciest, of course).

If you email the folks at Lightning arms they'll send you pics of what's available and for how much. Good people.

took it back to the range yesterday

obviously still don't shoot it as well as larger guns, but moving my hand up on the backstrap solved all my problems.. one-handed or two handed shooting is much more comfortable now.. just got to practice enough for that to become a habit.. with the higher grip the tyler t-grip is very comfortable for me while shooting..

I've shot well with T-grips in the past. But lately, I've been using a pachymeir, way more comfortable.

I have the same setup on my 642(service grips and a Tyler T-grip). I find it to be a good setup for carrying and pretty good for shooting. I shoot home made 148gr wadcutters followed by a cylinder or two of my carry ammunition.

With practice you will be suprised at how well the gun can shoot.
