So, I'm getting some custom grips from Klamath River Woodworks and asked for pictures of his "KRW"/gunfighter style grip cut. It tapers down at the bottom to be much thinner than the standard Colt-style single action grip I'm more used to, but I could see the possible benefits.

Any of you guys have experience with such, this maker, or any other input as to the quality and functionality? I have bigger-than-average hands and have no actual qualms with the normal offering, so I'm not certain it'd be for me. Here's a shot of the grip style in question, though in a rough, unfinished state:

Only you will be able to know what the right grips feel like, but I have bigger than normal hands, and I actually my SAA grips to be wider than the standard.

So you need to ask yourself, "are my current grips too big?"
