GSG 1911 in Switzerland

Hi ALL,

Any guys or locales knows where a GSG 1911 (.22LR) can be bought in Switzerland. I've search some on gunshops here in Switzerland(like Roch Customs, Lagardere at Chaux-de-Fonds, Schildwaffen and Liquidarmes but can't find one. Thanks in advance for the info.

This place is listed on the GSG website as distributor for most of Europe. You might e-mail them or give them a call and see if they can put you in touch with a dealer in Switzerland.

Thanks Duke for the GSG 1911 link! But wait...I've just read in another link that Umarex was licensed by Colt to manufacture a .22LR version of their 1911 format. Guess I'll just have to think and wait for a while. Though, it says in that link that it will be out by November 2010 in the US. I'm just wandering about the quality whether it would be at par with the very much acclaimed GSG 1911 and when would it appear in the European market. I'll be going to my friendly gunshop tomorrow and inquire about the GSG 1911 and give him the link that you gave. Thanks man!
