The last 2 pistols I purchased were Glocks, which I think are fine pistols but somewhat utilitarian. I hit my 70th back in the summer and decided for making it that far,I wanted a nice metal framed 9mm,preferably a 1911 Commander sized. So when a Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm turned up on GaG's website I whipped out the card. I am more than satisfied with the fit, finish and accuracy of this pistol. I'm following the break-in instructions and its at the 200 round mark with no stoppages. I'm sure it will make a fine companion with my 30 year old .45 Colt Commander.

Might be the last pistol I buy for a while as Measure 114 has passed and Oregon has fallen.

Very nice. A DW of some model ( leaning toward a C-bob ) has been on my radar for some time, Looks like you got some good wood. I know they all come with the same grips, but it's wood, and some grains are nicer looking than others. I like yours. Sorry about 114. I strongly suspect it will be struck down as unconstitutional.

Found a good deal on new old stock Valor V-Bob in 9mm. Liked it so much that I bought the Guardian in 9mm for carry.
