Guess this range

This video is old enough that it has to have been posted here many times.

However, searching for it doesn't turn up anything. Sorry if it has been posted a billion times as I suspect.

The claim is that this is "the longest, long-rifle shot ever attempted", but I doubt that. I doubt it is even the longest successful shots through iron sights, but it is certainly impressive.

Anyone know or want to guess what the range could be?
Anyone know or can anyone find the origins of this video?

That's Dave Gullo of Buffalo Arms shooting the buffalo gong target at the Whittington Center at Raton NM. The range is 1123 yards.

WOW! Makes me feel bad for the way I shoot at 100yds with iron sights.

I love iron sight shooting. Our range it only 300yds and sometime next summer I'm heading to CMP for longer shots. I'd love to have that kind of accuracy at 1000yds. Mine's an AR10B with competition front and rear iron. Right now I'm waiting on the 2 stage trigger for it.
