Guest at the range yesterday

The range is in Babcock wildlife preserve in Punta Gorda Fla. Its neat to see the wild life. We all stopped shooting and let it pass. He/she was trying to get to a pond inbetween the rifle and pistol range. I would have gotten closer but the range was hot. Now if it was a rattle snake I would have shot the damn thing. I don't mind gators.

I think it's funny when wildlife wanders onto the range. I'm a hunter but I leave them alone.

At our range we occasionally get a black bear that checks that you're hitting the target at 300 yards. Great fun to watch.

three free turkeys played on our 100 yard berm for 20 minutes yesterday.

no cease fire but house rules are not to engage the wildlife.
i mean....we have turkey shoots twice a year but than we can't shoot them...

All you have to do is yell "It's coming right for us!" Then you are in the clear.
