i was just wandering around the house looking for something to use as a background...something i hadnt used before.

So i ended up with out corkboard off the wall, that we made a few weeks ago.. It turned out ok, but the lighter color background kinda plays with my spot balance. hense the pretty dark second picture.

I like using dark backgrounds for guns better.

Thanks for trying to ease my discomfort, but this is what I have my heart set on. I have a little Kodak camera that is a 2.2 mega pixel camera that does everything very well accept take close up pictures of my guns without useing the flash. If I try to use natural light then the picture comes out funny and using the flash is just not right.

I also wanted to have the LCC in at least ONE photoshoot before i sold it...I have only had it a week or so..just as proof that i owned one.

And flashpoint...allow me to demonstrate why more than 2 megapixels is a waste of time for internet usage, and why the canon A60 is the shiznit: BTW the first pics on this thread were done with my old sony mavica...but all of my REAL good stuff has been done with my A60...

why would you want bigger than 2 megapixel????

brass balls...that was the point....I was attempting to make the point that 2 megapixels is MORE than sufficient for most uses...but people insist on getting the latest and greatest 29.3424 megapaixel camera, that takes pictures that take up 150 megabytes of disk space..

and 2 MP cameras are WAY cheaper.

I know, I read your post. I was just trying to confirm, in a humorous way, that those size pictures are so big as to be cumbersome to view on this forum. Perhaps the humor was lost in translation.
