hehe

Oops, Iforgot to mention that besides all the business about useing our own terms; that was a great response!

It was very High-Road-ish: polite, and wishing him the best. Very good. Took the time to point out what happens when the weak are at the mercy of the strong, but didn't insult him directly.

Well done!
C-

p.s. if he responds, please post it! Just so I can be a parasite of your more exciting pro-2A life. :)

Both responses were excellent. I'm afraid they'll have little effect on someone so obviously in need of theraphy as Mr. Bellamy. That kind of mindless hatred seldom responds to logic.

I don't own an AK (I've always preferred ARs, FALs, and M1As), but I do believe I'm gonna go out a buy one (or two) now. Maybe I should write Mr. Bellamy and tell him he has convinced me to do so. ;)

I wouldn't have bothered to respond to this disturbed individual. What we have here is an extreme example of the old "us vs them" mentality. I suspect this person has a political paradigm that fits all gunowners into the right-wing whacko redneck bubba mold.

Not that we don't have our share of that on this side of the aisle, but present company tends to be less extreme about it.

Mr. Bellamy's email address is available for anyone to reply to.

We can show him that we won't stoop to his level of name-calling and threats.

And if you ever came at me or my family with physical expressions of the obvious violence in your murderous heart, I'd mow you down like grass and lose no sleep over it.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and have a very nice Thanksgiving. While you wish my wife, my infant son and my ailing mother would be murdered and die slowly in pain, I hope and pray that your family is safe and well and that if they ever come under attack from a violent criminal there is someone there with a firearm to protect them.

Each side's true colors sure come out here, don't they? One wishes death and misery, one wishes for peace and happiness.

While I dearly hope that whackbags like this are in the minority, it gives a great insight into their little peabrains.

First, he is obviously driven by anger and wishes violence on innocent people. Next, he clearly has little ability to restrain himself in accord with rules of civility that have been in existence for centuries. So, clearly, this is the kind of person who probably shouldn't have access to a firearm. He projects his angry, violent nature onto all gunowners, apparently -- and wants us to be as weak as he is. That is a pattern we've seen many times over the years, rather common in the most virulent of gun banners.

Textbook projection.

we own more than one AK 47, just because , and if this "gentleman" doesn't like it, he can take a long walk on a short pier :) ................ There have been cars used to kill people all the time , maybe we should ban him from owning any motorized vehicles ...

:fire: :barf:

Wow. Jon seems to be a cheeseburger short of a Happy Meal! In fact, people like him just might be the only justification for gun control laws:what:

That is absolutely unbelievable. Reason number 23,674,947 to own a gun: violent psychos like Jon Bellamy.

This still brings a big smile to my face every time I think about it:

And if you ever came at me or my family with physical expressions of the obvious violence in your murderous heart, I'd mow you down like grass and lose no sleep over it.

:D :D :D :D

hey wait a minute!

It’s not surprising that this email originated from the San Francisco area
Oh well. Now you guys know why we SF,CA folks are wound so tight I was threatened for wearing a U.S flag pin and N.R.A hat
SF liberals seem to think that gun ownership equals love of violence
yet the anti gun left out here are the ones who do violence all the time at "peace" protest. I allways counter the need question I hear all the time with "why do you need to protest?"
"why do you need freedom of press & Religion?"
"why do you need free speech"
They never get it!

I don't know that I would have replied to that psycho, other than to let him know that his email has been forwarded to both his and my local PD's.

Nothing positive can come from getting someone like that worked up. Who knows what that jackoff would try.

After reading the responses to Mr. Bellamy's letter and the replies to the initial post I feel I am in good company. Angel and Nicky's responses were civil and forthright. The degenerative level of civility displayed by Mr. Bellamy is sickening and indicative of a limited depth of thinking.

P.S. I loved the "mow the lawn" comment !:p

The 'need' argument is false and the product of narrow minds. The FF identified natural rights in the BOR. They are not subject to need or government whim (in theory, anyway:rolleyes: ). Whether or not you think I 'need' freedom of speech or 'need' an evil black semi-auto, I still possess the right to exercise those rights. If you follow the 'need' argument to its logical conclusion, we could be easily stripped of most of our rights, depending upon the whims of the current government hacks in power. That's the whole reason we have a BOR in the first place.

May be this person is a product of "Deliberately Dumbing Down America" public schools and media?

How do you get a gun-grabbers brain to the size of a pea?

INFLATE IT!

This person isn't stupid, although his lack of grammar and spelling skills certainly suggest a lack of effective education. People who wish harm on others publicly, viscerally and so blatantly aren't stupid. They're evil.

Wasn't California allowing convicted criminals access to e-mail from inside the joint?
