gun build ?'s

so I assembled my first firearm ever, an AR (not that they are hard or anything), the upper was complete(LMT) but I assembled the lower w/o any problems in. I wanna add a 1911 and a bolt action(700) to my collection and thought about just doing builds (or a rebuild from a well used one) for both I know next to nothing about either, yet and have no idea where to begin. can someone point me in the right direction. keep in mind I am a novice as well.

Brownell's has a nice 4 part or so video on building a 1911. Be aware it is not like building an AR - there is machine work invovled and some specialized skills and tools. A BA rifle is also not going to be as easy as an AR.
