You know, I rarely go out to the movies anymore, but I think that this is gonna be one of the rare occasions.

I mean, looks like there's zombies, prosthetic marchineguns, a minigun on an ATV, all sortsa fun things...

Anyone see any sneakers yet?

ick. never a fan of those types of movies.

lots of firearms issues ( walking on fake leg/M16. apearently never heard of barrel obstructions). thats just one to name a few

well suck all the jam outta our donuts why dont you:neener:

Personally, I want my popcorn cooked in coconut oil, with lots of real butter and salt. Nice huge coke too... Sit back, put the feet up, and suspend reality.

I wonder if the minigun they're using is the same one from Predator and T2...

Correia, you know anything about where the folks got their stuff?

Sometimes you just have to sit back and be entertained. A couple summers ago my wife and went to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. As we were walking out after the move my wife commented that I didn't ock it apart for all the weapons and tactics mistakes. I told her that the movie was billed as entertainment. It wasn't trying to come off as a representation of real life.

Sometimes we miss out on a lot of fun because we take ourselves too seriously.

oh. im horrible to watch a movie with. i never shut up.

and by "those movies" i mean tarantino/rodriguez stuff.

some of the older stuff is good. resevoir dogs, from dusk till dawn. but i just dont know about the newer stuff

Added: im still gunna go see it. as im moraly obligated to watch any and all zombie movies. where ever, when ever... must know our enemy before they are upon us.

I'm looking forward to this movie, I'm a big fan of both Tarantino and Rodriguez and the fact they are collaborating again sounds good to me. Like Desperado, Dusk Till Dawn, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Sin City (among others) its not about realism its about pushing the limit of reality and not taking it seriously. Movies like these are all about reversing your perception of reality, you like the bad guy and dislike the good, civilized society gives way to chaos yet we seem to enjoy it. Bad languege, violence, drugs, sex, recklessness and revenge are all shoved into the viewers face in such a blunt way that after youre done watching such a movie, real life seems almost bland and boring. That's the point of movies like these and why I think so many people enjoy them. Its fun to be bad, and everyone likes a good bad guy (or gal). Who wouldn't want the chance to experience life without any rules and restrictions for just a little while? Tarantino especially gives us that, he creates characters that we love to hate and has created some of cinemas all time greatest anti-heroes.

Yeah, great. Another movie that pushes the limits and really associates violence with sex. Maybe Tarantino can start making snuff films soon.

yeah
movies like this are BAD
they should be BANNED
or maybe LIMITED to under 60 minutes
or maybe we should require a PERMIT to see them
or a 3 day WAITING period

the movie does not associate violence with sex
YOU do
its time to take responsibility for our own actions

"We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions."

--Ronald Reagan

i just read this after posting

have you even read your OWN sig line?

The fact that this appears to be a double feature of crappy movies is actually a good sign. That's exactly what it's supposed to be. This one and "Sunshine" look potentially good.

I don't know if this is going to be a particularly firearm heavy movie, but it does look like its fun. Kind of like how "Kill Bill" was just a fun action movie until it was ruined in the second half. Speaking of Rodriguez, does anyone know if theres a list of guns from Sin City anywhere?

In that case I defy you to watch Braindead, which is a zombie movie from New Zealand. Peter jackson was involved in it. A cleaner version was released in the US called "Dead-Alive", but if you can find the New Zealand version, it takes it to a whole new level.

yeah
movies like this are BAD
they should be BANNED

Where did he call for a ban? Since when does not liking a movie equal banning it?

I will see it when it comes out. Looks pretty good. I like Tarantino's stuff, though I thought Kill Bill was not as good as any of his other stuff.

My main and only complaint about movies like this, is that some brady type will assume every bit of gun silliness is actually possible, and use the movie itself as a weapon against gun owners.

.... wouldn't be the first time nor will it be the last they might try it.

There is a difference between fantasy and stupidness.

IMHO, Tarantino films are just plain ol' stupid. But to each his own.

It looks  weird as all  hell. A gun for a leg? I don't  know if I will make it  out to see this one.

Tarintino's stuff is pure trash. My 2 cents. He is of course FREE to make them. I think it's a shame people like them.

Guys, some of you are missing the point. This movie is intentionally corny. That is why it is named what it is. They specifically set out to create a B-Movie.

The reason they have a gun for a leg is because the concept is so utterly ridiculous that it could not, not be included.

Oh, you're just upset because of Tarantino's monologue on how Top Gun is really a homosexual recruiting tool.

If you really want me too, I'll find a link.
