8 People Robbed In One Area Overnight
Police Look For Three Men
WASHINGTON -- Metropolitan police detectives say a trio of robbers may be responsible for 18 robberies and attempted robberies that took place late Monday and early Tuesday.
Officers said the attacks started around 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Holmead Place in Northwest. The last robbery happened around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of Adams Mill Road in Northwest.
All of the attacks happened in Northwest D.C. In one case, a female victim was slightly hurt. In another case, the victim resisted and nothing was taken.
Earlier, investigators had only linked five of the crimes.
