Was just wondering if anyone can fill me in on type of technology/gun used in this movie. Gun moved by remote controlled touch screen he uses for assassination.
Can you direct me to websites and prices. Are they obtainable outside the States?
Reminds me of a movie and a pay-to-hunt-from-your-armchair. Was it The Jackal? Willis and Gere.
Some guys in Texas devised a way a camera could be mounted on a rifle that was controllable by the paying hunter's PC. The armchair hunter simply moved the crosshair to kill a passing deer. Set in NY and kill adeer in Texas. Talk about long range shooting.
If I remember correctly, it appalled hunters so much that they convinced the state legislature to make it illegal.

As far as i know, no company actually makes them and sells um, but you could hire a ME to design one, and have it built. It is a basic robot, actually very simple. I heard about some people making them in TX so you could hunt from your own computer, just point, click (gun shoots) and go there to get your trophy....but it was like $10k a pop.
Can anyone point this guy to a website where someone can buy a PSG-1 mounted on a remote touch screen operated, automatic firing platform off the shelf?
