Gun laws in Colombia?

Anyone know the gun laws in Colombia? I am getting permanent residency and I know people that have guns but I'm not sure what the laws are, I think you have to buy the guns from Indumil directly, any ideas on importing a handgun?

Makes living in NY sound nice... required registration for all firearms, no semi-auto anything over .22LR...

"In Colombia, civilians are not allowed to possess pistols and revolvers of calibre superior to 9.652mm, automatic arms, semi-automatic rifles and carbines over 22 caliber LR, arms with military-style devices (infrared and laser sights, grenade launchers and silencers) and ammunition for these arms28."

.38/9MM revolvers; maybe semi-autos, but that's seemingly unclear. Bolt-action rifles above .22 but no semis.

The website seems quite comprehensive...
