Gun O'clock!

I thought they were suggesting using a real gun to get rid of the loud annoying alarm, like a "snooze" button.

I was wondering, "do they know how loud guns are?!?!" :)

Well, it would work. Permanently, but........

In the same ballpark, I had a smoke alarm start the "low battery" beeping at 0'dark-thirty one night. A well-aimed overhand throw using a fully loaded Witness compact 10mm magazine took care of that (and left a nice ding in the oppising wall).

Best of all, it doesn't break the "don't point a gun at anything you are not willing to destroy" rule.

I checked once i saw on the video it has the timer game function.

The target pops up, and it times you on how long you take to hit the bull's eye.

Sounds like a bunch of fun to me!

Once had a team member that while on deployment shot his alarm clock with his .45.
That got everyone up real quick except the guy that did the shooting.

It was pretty funny after we calmed down.

Reminds me of the scene in "A Fish Called Wanda" where Kevin Kline's "Otto" suddenly awakens and shoots the alarm with a suppressed pistol, then settles back to sleep with a satisfied grin.

I got 20 seconds into the video and had to hit pause because I was laughing so hard.

First observation is how the whole tone of the video is so "American," specifically westernish. Second, did you notice how the cartoon guy is clearly a white American gun nut like us :D?

Within the first 10 seconds it became obvious that in many ways, the Japanese men want to be like Americans. Nothing new about that but it's been awhile since I was reminded of it, ESPECIALLY in a way that communicates the desire of Japanese men to own firearms.

"Risten...Gun o'ocrock" lolz
