If you want a little excitement to your morning routine, you can try this new alarm clock. The Gun O'clock comes with an infrared gun. When the alarm goes off, a target pops up from the top. To turn the alarm off, you need to hit the bullseye. Depending on your skill and aim, you can choose from Normal or Hard modes, where the latter requires you to hit the target five times. Works with 6 AA batteries (4 for clock and 2 for gun).

They had toys like this in the 70s and 80s from Japan with "model guns" that were basically handguns that were actually super realistic that used reloadable casings in removable magazines that'd fire a very powerful cap so the action would cycle and a laser would come out somewhere on the gun and if it hit the right part of the electronic target itd fall over or make a sound

actually saw one on ebay a few months ago for $170 same type of target thing and a 1:1 scale very realistic Colt 1911
