Gun Places in Middle Peninsula, VA?

I've got access to a small cottage on the river near Mollusk and Gloucester. Are there any firing ranges or gun shops nearby? I know Richmond and Hampton Roads aren't far away, but I'm looking to "get away from it all" for a while and want to try and stay rural. There's not enough land to do my own shooting, so I'd need a public or private range. Thanks!

Thanks for the responses, but Chickahominy's on the Lower Peninsula and is about a two hour drive from the cottage. I was hoping for a place closer than that, if there is one.

Huh? where exactly are you? Around the hampton roads area Williamsberg is actually upper Peninsula, It takes 30 minutes to drive from Hampton to williamsberg so 2 hours is more like the other side of richmond.

"The Peninsula" is actually the Lower Peninsula and has Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Yorktown, etc.

The Middle Peninsula is across the York River and Gloucester and Tappahannock are the main towns.

Cross the Rappahannock River and you're on the Upper Peninsula (Northern Neck).

I'm looking for shops and ranges on the Middle Peninsula.

I have never heard Gloucester and Tappahannock called the Middle Peninsula, lived in this area all my life. Any way you sir have found yourself in the baron waste land of shooting ranges. There are likely not too many shops in that area either. In fact there might not be any. If you do find one would you send me a pm please.

FYI, chickahominy range has been closed for all intents and purposes as a recreational range. Handguns are no longer allowed, and the rifle side is only open from September - March if I remember right.

Superior Pawn & gun, in Va Beach & also on Mercury in NN has an indoor shooting range. $50/year membership for you and a guest or you can pay by the hour.

There's also the Lafayette Gun Club, which looks quite nice but you have to know someone who's already a member unfortunately
