As some have observed, it is best not to provide ammunition to those who would attempt to sully your reputation or insinuate nefarious motives on your part.

As with all things online, once you have clicked reply/submit/post/publish, the message cannot be taken back. A copy of it must be assumed to exist beyond your reach with the possibility of it being retrieved from whatever backup location it resides on.

Assume that your online content is a public billboard with your real name signed underneath, and post accordingly.
