Gun Safe Question

I have a particular issue with a gun safe - I have very shallow closets in my apartment, so I need a gun safe that's shallow and wide.
Can anyone recommend a particular safe, or a good safe vendor that is good about fielding pre-sales inquiries over the phone?

Depending on the measurements I have a safe that is 24" deep and fits into most closets.......was built by National Security, now a part of Liberty Safe

I would imagine you could special order one to the size you need or want. I'm sure it would be quite expensive ordering a odd size safe.That's if anyone will agree to making a non standard size.Best bet is check with some of the bigger safe builders or stop in a store that specializes in safes. I think most standard size is 24" deep. That must be awful small closets in your apartment.

I handle Graffunder safes & have been advising about safes & RSC's on this site for years. Graffunder is a custom builder & will build to your dimensions. With that said though, a Graffunder is a true safe, not an RSC or Residential Security Container. Consequently, they offer markedly superior protection than RSC's, and cost more too.

One thing to keep in mind is that the cost per protected cubic inch goes rather steeply down the larger the safe, or container, gets. Consequently, in the interest of getting the most protection for the buck, you might wish to consider other placement options.

Youre such of lucky guys, cause you can put everywhere you want, and if you wanna get sure, you can buy a safe.
In germany ,- were I`m from you must have a safe before you get a licence to buy a weapon.

Pella makes a high quality gun safe that is only 19" deep.

Look at manufacturers from China. Most of the Asian safe companies offer shallow depth safes.
