Going to be taking a long weekend next week going from western mi to east ohio. Along the toll road. Going to visit some friends and was wondering if there are any good gun shops to stop and stretch our legs at on the way. We r going to end up in pa for a night but that is already planed out and figuring on stoping at cabelas in dundee on the way back monday morning but i sure would like to stop someplaces that got lots of used guns too. Any info would be great and thank you.

exit 52, this shop is about .5 miles east of the exit.
Cleland's Outdoor World
Half mile east of the Toledo Airport
10306 Airport Highway
Swanton, OH 43558
they are closed on sundays.
not alot of used guns, the store burnt to the ground and they rebuilt reopening last fall.

us 23 exit (to go to cabelas)is the next exit east from here.

Print out a list of gunshops from the internet.

Some GPS's show sporting goods or sport shops.

The Indiana Cabela's and Bass Pro are both on I94 but West of Michigan. There is a Gander Moutain in Coldwater, MI a bit North on I69.
Granger Guns in Granger, IN is not too far from a toll road exit. And Midwest Gun Exchange and Dunhams are not a whole that father in Mishawaka.

mdemetz..ya I know of all them. I am only 1/2 hour or so north of there so they get my visits quite a bit. But I feel all those shops to the east need my money also.:D. Have you ever been up to On Target? Definately worth the trip if you haven't. Probably 5000 or better guns there at all times.

I believe that fin feather feather and fur opened a store in Cleveland. I have not been to that store but i have been to their store in Ashland and it is great. They have good fishing and gun selections. If you are into reloading, they have an entire department dedicated to reloading gear and components. By far the best place to buy reloading supplies in Ohio.

I agree with Fin, Feather, & Fur. It's a larger "outdoor" store with a pretty large firearms selection. It's only 5 minutes or so off the toll road as you get close to Cleveland.

Not sure how far east you're heading, but there is one in Warren (just north of Youngstown) that I've REALLY enjoyed when I can get over there! It's called Stocker's and it's about 10-15 minutes off the toll road. They specialize in everything shooting related and have an amazing selection of gear, reloading, accessories, etc, in addition to a good gun selection (including used).

Another one with TONS of used guns (crammed into a converted house in Cuyahoga Falls) is Dick's Gun Room. I enjoy that place a lot, too. It's about 15 minutes off 80.

Like jhop said, Dundee is about 30-45 minutes off 80, depending greatly upon traffic. If you go there, check out Jerky Outlet. BEST JERKY I'VE EVER HAD. There are many places to buy jerky at this exit, but none are as good as Jerky Outlet.
