Went to the show in Lexington, N.C., and here are some of the prices I can remember. Btw, going to the Raliegh show this weekend and will have more time to spend there and will give you guys a better report. Anyway here's what I can remember:

1. 2 Yugo SKS's ,average condition, 1@$450.00 and 1@ $475.00
2. 100 round drum for Saiga 12 ga. @ $200.00
3. Smith 686 very good condition @ $700.00
4. AR15's absurdly priced (IMO) from $1100.00 to $3000.00
5. Barrett .50 cal single shot with Swarv optics.. get this now....$7000.00
6. Barrett .50 cal semi-auto with Swarv optics..Even worse...@ $15,000.00

No ak-47's which was what I was looking for
And couldn't you buy the Barrett semi auto for 8K and the single shot for $2800.00 not very long ago? WTH happened other than the big "panic of '09"
for those Barretts to go up THAT much?
Anyway...sorry for the short list...more next time.

yeah i bought my ar from a place called champions here in kent, wa about a month or so ago for 1099.00. when i look at olympic arms website theyre like 899. or somethin but they dont show the flattop like i got. but i dont think the 200 dollar markup is that bad considering i couldnt find an AR anywhere or on any website. tell ya what though ill be glad when this histeria ends though and you can actually get a real nice gun for a good price.

Amen to the end of the panic. Our local gun show prices on just about everything is extremely high. What happened to never having to pay MSRP?

Last gun show I went to made me sick and I think I've sworn them off forever.

Nothing but over priced new semi-auto handguns and ARs. Not a big rifle selection, and I only found two tables selling used revolvers.

I felt stupid going in there looking for some cheap .22s or a $100 1895 Nagant revolver. Waste of $8 admission and an afternoon I could have spent better sleeping.

Wow! I think I may walk around the next show and lowball a dealer for my Yugo SKS for $400. ;)

I had found a Kel-tec Sub2000 (9mm Glock) for $410 at a gun shop a few weeks ago. That same dealer was asking $500 at the gun show last weekend for the same gun. I left there and went to a different gun shop where another guy had a Sub2000. He was asking $590 for it!!!!

Stupid...guess I'll wait a few months to pick up some more guns

I should have bought a bunch back in Sep/Oct and made a crap ton of money.

Most recently the Base Exchange had LCPs for $280....I had no idea they were selling for $400+ on some auction sites

I guess it depends on the area. I went to a show a few weekends ago and picked up a couple of fairly reasonable deals on a Ruger LCP & Whitney Wolverine.

I got my LCP a few eeks ago, and paid 300. I went to a table at the other end of the show, and the same gun was 410.

It was for my wife, and the first round out of the gun she put dead center bull at seven yards.

Now if I could get some ammo for the thing....
