FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"Tom Gresham's Gun Talk" Radio Show Now on XM

The only national radio talk show about guns has greatly expanded its reach with the addition of the XM satellite radio system to its distribution. "Tom Gresham's Gun Talk" is a live, three-hour broadcast about firearms -- the technical, the topical, and the political -- hosted by award-winning firearms writer/author/broadcaster, Tom Gresham.

Now in its twelfth year on the air, "Gun Talk" (presented by The Outdoor Channel) is carried on radio stations in 50 markets, on the Sirius satellite system, and is heard worldwide through live web streaming and MP3 downloads at www.guntalk.com. The addition of the XM satellite coverage increases the potential audience by more than five million.

"It's great to have the additional listeners on the XM system, and especially to be included on channel 166, 'America Right', which includes talk radio stars G. Gordon Liddy, Laura Ingraham, and Michael Reagan," said Gresham. When you combine their subscribers with the Sirius system, that's more than 10 million in the subscriber base, not counting the regular radio stations and the tens of thousands listening on the net. I'm excited to be able to deliver a reasonable and responsible voice of gun ownership to this huge audience."

"Gun Talk" is broadcast live from 2:00pm til 5:00pm Eastern, on Sundays. The XM broadcast is delayed three hours, starting at 5:00pm Eastern, giving listeners a broader window for finding the show.

Gresham also hosts or appears on several television series, including Petersen's Adventure Hunting, Step Outside (in conjunction with the National Shooting Sports Foundation), and Wings To Adventure. Beginning this fall, he also will host a new TV series about personal defense.

END END

I have alot of fun with downloading the shows and taking them to work with me. I sit in my tech room and play them while working on the machines, since I am in the medical field and work with 90% women, I get some strange looks, but noone has said anything yet.
The secretary likes that I carry, I'm not allowed to carry in the building, but since we get some real crazies now and then, She said that her code for me to go get my gun is "MY Name, Car" over the PA system.

No plans to leave Sirius. At least, no plans on my part.

Of course, it helps if listeners let Sirius and XM know they want Gun Talk.

We gun owners are quick to complain, but rarely write or call to offer support.

On Sirius, it's channel 144. Sundays at 2:00pm Eastern, 1:00 Central, Noon Mountain, and 11:00am Pacific. The show runs for three hours.

On XM, however, it's on channel 166, and the times are different. XM records the show and runs it three hours later -- 5:00 Eastern, etc.

Hmm maybe I won't get rid of XM just yet! Too bad I don't have a home XM receiver, I may look weird sitting in my truck for 3 hours on sunday. Especially if I am stroking my AR-15, haha.

I've found all sorts of neat stuff on Sirius. First Radio Margaritaville, then Blue Collar Radio, now this.... Maybe one or two others that I won't mention here...
