Just got back from my sister's place - she's not feeling too well, so she called me and my dad to help watch the kid (my two-year old nephew) for awhile so she could rest.

I was taking him on a little walk around the parking lot earlier so he could expend some energy on his fischer-price motorcycle thing, when I noticed some interesting license plates in front of one of the houses.

IDPA4ME on an old Bronco, and BNCHRST on the Honda next to it.

Very cool. I never knew there were gunnies in my sister's neighborhood. :)

Any other folks here have shooting related plates? I've toyed with the idea of getting vanity plates, but I just can't decide what to have them say, lol.

I try not to have any "advertising" on my car.

However, if you google { license plate generator }, you'll find a number of sites that insert your characters into your state's plates.

I satisfied myself with generating a number of gunnie variations, including "230RN," "357 MAG," etc., and this one:

It satisfied my inner redneck for a while. ;)

What does the 762x54r license plate frame translate to? I tried to follow the threads on MDshooters but I am not registered.

Something everyone can understand...

My Florida vanity plate just goes straight to the point. It says, "I SHOOT." I've been pulled over for speeding twice in the last eight years, and each time, the plate has caused me no problems whatsoever.

Or, maybe it did. One cop in Navarre, FL, wanted me to get out and talk to him away from my van. Another cop, south of Amarillo, TX, asked me to sit with him in his front seat while we talked.

Anyway, I'm about to move into a new neighborhood, and the plate will be gone before I do. With things changing the way they are, I don't want any of my neighbors to know that I might have something of interest in my house.

BTW: The replacement tag for my van will read, "CUT GOVT." The tag on my Blazer reads, "RISE UP."

My wife thinks I'm crazy, but she still seems to like me and she puts up with it. She thinks the Blazer tag is some sort of sexual suggestion, but it's really a spiritual and political statement.

I want a hitch cover with the HK logo.I have a baseball cap that has a vintage HK patch,I wore it at a community event(a few thousand attended),only 2 people noticed, and one is a LEO friend of mine...

Years before "Prison Break," a client and friend had "T BAGGR". Yes, it's a little gross, to me, but we all thought it was hilarious. The old guys at the range even liked it, though most didn't seem to know what it meant, and my friend told them it went back to his service days when he didn't like coffee. Eventually the Bureau of Motor Vehicles TOOK IT BACK (didn't know they could do that) after a complaint by some humorless jerk.

Glad you told me. Whew!

But I give up on "T BAGGR." Some kind heart PM me on that one, pls?

I've never understood nor felt the need for vanity plates. But everybody has a hobby.
For about 6 months every morning on the way to work I would get behind an SUV with "VP PALIN" on the plates. I never saw those plates again after November.
I do have a friend who bought a BMW M3 simply because his initials were a part of the VIN. Takes all kinds. ;)

Congratulations, Cannonball888; I grew up in the Chicago area and dated Russian and Ukrainian emigres (mostly Jackson-Vanik jewesses) almost exclusively for years. HOT. Didn't marry one, though. Probably should have.
