Gunpowder!?!?!?!?

I call Adventure Sports in Lynnwood every week or three to see what, if anything, they have available. They have always been willing to search their inventory for my list of powders I'd like. That's a bit of a trek from Tacoma. They're only about a $5 drive away for me. (My cars get about 20 MPG.) Maybe a third of the time, they have something useful.

Over the past year or so I've been able to get Titegroup, Trail Boss, Red Dot, HP-38, AA#5, Power Pistol, Blue Dot, Longshot, 2400, H110, and IMR4227 (in order of decreasing burn rate). Only one or two varieties at a time, typically. Usually I call on Friday and drive there the next day, but I did make a lunch hour trip once when I decided on a whim to call on a Tuesday or Wednesday and found that they'd been visited by the Alliant Fairy when she was in a very generous mood. IIRC, got Red Dot, Blue Dot, Power Pistol and 2400 that day!

Except Trail Boss, seems like any one of those faster than Longshot would serve for all the pistols you listed.

If you can find what you need online, you might have to just bite the bullet and pay the hazmat. As the others have said, you'll spend more than that driving around for a day looking.

I've realized one does not buy reloading supplies when they need them, but when you find them.
Yep, you have to buy them when you can.
