General purpose rifle powder?

It may not be the best possible, but I think BL-C(2) is a good one. I use it for .223, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54R.

I tried using it with 8mm Mauser and had some problems with standard LR primers not having 'enough fire' to light off BL-C(2). For now I'm using IMR4198 or IMR4064 for my 8mm Mauser, all the other rifle loads use BL-C(2). BL-C(2) meters exceptionally well in my Lee perfect powder measure, at least as well as W231 does for me.

With the hazmat fee (I didn't include shipping, which will make a little bit of a difference), I'm at 15.5 cents a round.
