I agree about the HK P7 being the perfect Bond gun.

Second choice would be a toss-up between the SIGARMS P239 and Walther P5C or maybe even the P99C.
 
Why not a Mauser pocket pistol???

Personally I'm a big fan of the Mauser HSc in either 32 acp or the .380. But I always thought thought that Bond should have carried a Mauser C96 Bolo Broomhandle. In 30 Mauser of course. Very chic.:cool:

I have a bolo in .30 and it's a heck of an intriquing artifact. But don't you think of those are essentially Bad Guy Guns? Except maybe for Han Solo... who certainly was no angel, now that I think about it! :)

Bond' gun will always be the walther ppk

i believe that the walther ppk created part of the exoticness of james bond. i would not have made a better choice myself! but i do like the new walther p99 as bond's new choice of gun.. i do hope the new bond makes use of the walther p99! (however i dont like the new guy who is replacing pierce brosnan:banghead:

In the books, he had some better arms--after Fleming passed away John Garner armed with a Browning Hi-Power, an H&K VP70, P7, ASP 9mm before Raymond Benson gave him the damn Walther again.

So...what guns should Bond have carried throughout his cinematic career? Criteria are: relatively lightweight, compact enough not to print through a tuxedo, and European or at least exotic (007 cannot carry a 1911A1...just ain't right).

My choices:

The ASP (for sheer exoticism), the P7, the P5 Compact, and I'm cool with the P99.

CCW permit

I am from guyana, south america, after three years i recently got a permit to buy a CCW. my choice is the walther ppk. I am just taken with that pistol! its secondhand, but in good condition any comments??
