Guns and Ammo Armed Response book?

I've recently obtained a large stack of old Guns and Ammo magazines. Since I am pretty new to the shooting world, I have been enjoying reading them and getting all sorts of new information (that is pretty old by now, I guess). I have been especially interested in the Armed Response section. It's fascinating to read about real-world incidents and cements my decision to carry even more.

Is there a some sort of book or compliation that puts all of these stories into one place? I'm sure there are many more stories that I haven't seen yet, and I think it would be a good tool to use when facing an anti or just someone who had questions about why people carry firearms.

Any info would be appreciated.

Didn't the NRA publish a book of their "Armed Citizen" (or whatever it is entitled) pages? Maybe '92? I have one in my home library at the Alcazar del Tejon; I'm at the office now, I'll find it later.

Are those still around???
