Just wanted to say hi. I really enjoy this site. I have since been able to share my enjoyment of firearms with the whole family. Once I got my wife on board, she was easily persuaded to purchase firearms for the whole family. I bought her a S&W airweight and she loves it. Since then, I was able to buy myself more pistols as well as buy my kids their first pistols and rifles. Isn't America great? Its alot of fun being able to take the whole family to the range and have a great day just shooting and bonding. P.S. My youngest daughter is 3 so I might give her a couple of years before she shoots the .22's.

I would agree about getting family involved. After finally getting my wife out this Sat, I was TOLD to get a P22 for next weekend! I jumped all over that deal! dunno how my new 1911 got snuck in there, but hey gotta buy em in pairs for legal reasons (or something) :p

Looks like a nice family of firearms ya got there! Happy Shootin!

Yup, isn't it great. Its always good to get the woman on board. Makes those new purchases a little easier. Tell me how you like the P22, we love ours. It just runs and runs. I bought it for the kids but my wife loves to shoot it. It allows her to shoot more which is a good thing.

Thanks,

I bought that Delta new in 89 as a carry piece. I was a PI at the time. An attorney/friend of mine begged me for it so I sold it to him on the condition that I get first dibbs if he ever sold it. I missed that pistol for a long time. About two weeks ago he called needing some extra cash so I bought it back for what I sold it for. He never fired it. It has maybe 200 rounds through it. I bought some doubletap for it and took it to the range saturday after installing a new recoil spring from King's. Wow, what a shooter, not a single hiccup. This will not be sold again.

My kids are older but it seems like everyone ends up shooting my wifes P22 even I like it.Big plus is it's cheap to shoot!

I have a whole safe of guns bought because they "would be a nice gun for nephew a b c or d, or neice a or b or son or daughter or ....." All of the kids have gotten the choice of the gun safe at age sixteen.
