One of our fellow AZ dealers was robbed today in Maricopa. This is a friends shop, and this is/was his ENTIRE inventory after being open less than 3 weeks. Please spread the word! If you come across any of the following firearms please notify the Pinal County Sheriff or ATF Phoenix Field Office.

Damn - you get the word out to the pawn shops, too? There's a little pawn shop down in Florence and two over here in Casa Grande they might try to fence to, being out of the way.

Thank you all. We (i am a friend of the shop owner these are NOT mine) are trying everything we can. Please spread as far and wide as you can except for Backpage. This is the 6th (i think) shop in Az to be hit recently, and the 3rd I know if in this area. The theives are getting more aggressive and soon bodies will be left as evidence from one side or the other. I would like to avoid that at all costs. PLEASE help him out, without recovery of some of the firearms the shop will have to be closed within 60 days. Thank you all very much.

And yes the suppressors can get them 10 years each, and some of the AR's are full auto samples, the DRACO is an SBR. These are some major items out there.

Some more info from questions asked on other forums: The items were all stored off site per BATFE storage variance. many of the guns we're "on consignment" and insurance is ONLY covering instock (company guns)...all insurance money is being paid to consigners. I believe (gut feeling) he was tailed and tracked for the off-site and snatch and grabbed soon there after. ATF and Pinal County Sheriffs Office have been contacted and are helping with pawn and FFL shops in the area. I believe due to the FA, Suppressors, and SBR's these will either be taken south or moved face to face.

If they are headed south I'm sure Eric Holder is personally on the case. :p

Yeah, ASSISTING WITH THE MOVE!

Yep, the NFA stuff is either going to Mexico or Phoenix street gangs. Since it was stored off site, definitely sounds targeted. Wish I could help more.

Wow this is horrible i hope he gets this stuff back i live in casa grande and will double check anything i buy.

Did i read it right the atf will make him close if he dont get the guns back?

Armed thugs rob gunshops and pawn shops in Houston and get away with 742 guns. All to arm criminals. We law-abiding citizens need to arm ourselves more and more and keep watch.

Think of the civil liability this guy faces if any of his poorly stored inventory is used in a crime.

He already faces quite a bit anyway, as in the thread over at ArizonaShooting he states that he's not insured for most of the losses, and some of the guns in that list are transfers, not company inventory.

The guy kept them in the TRUNK of his car?

And loaded them in and out every day?

Sounds like this is not his first problem with the BATF

"A word of advice for Bigfatbulldog. Get out of the gun business. You've had Two major ATF incidents in the past year. Surrender your license before they decide to really put you under the microscope. You're dealing with an agency that views mistakes and bad judgment as willful misconduct."

Guess his auto insurance doesn't cover that.;)

Yeah it is a bad deal all around. He is a friend through the industry and it just sucks. We are not close enough for me to ask dude ***?, but i am up to snuff on the "other" occurance and it was a small fry paperwork oops only. He was using offsite storage as a security precaution, the transportation appears to be the OOPS from what little i have found. Either way eyes need to be kept on finding the guns IMHO.
