8x57JS!!!!

If I had to pick just one thing, I'd say that the 8x57JS should be introduced in more modern rifles. It's easy to find a workaday Mauser in it, but much more difficult to find a modern, scoped hunting rifle that will really allow full use of this awesome cartridge.

The Billenium has that frame mounted safety.

Let me try this again.

I want a Beretta with a frame mounted safety, alloy frame, brigiader slide, and interchangable sights. Oh and I want them to import it to the bloody U.S of A.
:D :fire: :D

I've seen carbine conversion kits out there for Glocks. They basically consist of field-stripping the Glock and sticking it in an assembly w/ a longer barrel and a skeleton stock

How about an over/ under semi-auto w/ pistol grips, dual 20-rd mags, chambered in .308 and 10ga?
It'll never happen, but it's good to dream

Maybe a single-shot subcompact, chrome finish, and chambered in .50 BMG (call it the "Noisy Cricket") :what:

How about a revolver carbine? Say, one in .223?
Or maybe a new gas-seal revolver, something a teensy bit newer than the old Nagant.

I like the idea of new break-open revolvers, and broomhandle Mausers in .40S&W.

Of course, I also don't see why us piddly civilians shouldnt be able to have a SAW in the closet, or an old MG42 with 250 round belts...but then again, I live in the Peoples Republic of California, where our esteemed representatives have come to the conclusion that ownership of a semi-auto rifle with a pistol grip and a detachable magazine (nevermind a SCARY BAYONET LUG) is a perfectly good reason to send a person to prison.

Great to see that Puma has met my want. Anyone know if they work and feed well (with both .454 and .45 Colt?)?

KC touched on one I want to see: a quality break-top revolver made with modern metalurgy, thus capable of being offered in a serious caliber (.357, .41 mag, .44's, .45's), in a medium-size. Breaktops are super-easy to reload, and are quick and handy, but traditionally have always been offered in minor calibers, due to the weaker frame design. Fine, but hasn't modern metalurgy advanced just a tad since whatever the last Mark (VII?) of Webley was made? Or since the last S&W break-top was made? :)

I want someone to make a Kali-legal, autoloading rifle that fires .223, accepts AR-15 mags, more accurate than the mini-14, less flimsy and weird-looking than the Kel-tec SU-16

Select-fire handgun in .22 mag with 30 round capacity.

Break-style revolver for modern cartridges. They are just so cool.

New Savage 99 in .308

I would like to see Savage make the Model 219 again. The early one with the tang lever. In 218 Bee, Hornet, 25-20, ect.

An HK 93 in 7.62x39. They were just about to make one when SHTF in '89.:(

I'll put another vote for Ruger to make a side by side double rifle... I'd like a .45-70 or something like that...

And how about Ruger producing a Mini-14 variant that'd accept M-16 magazines...

And Ruger or some other domestic producer make a side by side 12 gauge that doesn't cost 2 grand.....

Tang safeties on Marlin lever guns would be pretty cool as well...

that's all I can think of at the moment...
