- I'll 2nd (3rd ,4th or 5th) the idea of a hyper-bore round chambered in a shorter barrel. (.454, .480, .500)Be a real Fitz-full ;)

I, too, wish Ruger would produce a 10mm GP.

I'm okay with my 5.5" Redhawks, but a factory 4" would be real nice, too.
(I have all four hole sizes.)

Affordable and well made Colt Pythons in blue. More blued guns in general within a reachable price range....

My Wants

1) S&W M27 with five-inch barrel, six-shot cylinder, checkered top strap. Yeah, the one they used to make.

2) S&W K-22 Masterpiece in stainless and blue without the full-lug barrel

3) S&W M63 Kit Gun

4) Stainless S&W 9mm revolver with extractor system from M547

5) Colt New Service in .44 Special and .45 Colt

5" Blue S&W Model 57 with original tapered barrel
4" Stainless S&W Model 58 round butt
5" Stainless Webley MK V or MK VI in .45 ACP & proofed for +P loads and with original style birds head grips

All three recessed for moon clips AND normal loading (single shells or speed loaders)

A 4" GP in 10 mm? Sure! Additionally I wish Ruger would make a "beavertail" hammer like that used on the Colt Python.

1) Smith 686 Plus heavy barrel, but standard shrouded ejector - not full lug.
ie. inbetween a regular 686 and the mountain gun version.

2) J-frame 3" barrel equivalent of the 940. A 5-shot 9mm.

Not so far-fetched as might once have been believed. In this thread on another forum I provide a quote and link to the original statement earlier this year that suggests that the guy in charge over a Colt, referred to as "the General", is interested in the New Services.

A reliable Airweight 940. (942?). An airweight M65 3" RB. An airweight stainless K-frame .22lr w/ .22M conversion cylinder, available in 3, 4, 6.5 and 8.375 inch bbls. An N-frame Mountain Gun in .45C w/ conversion ACP cyl. hmmmmm... another vote for a .45ACP version of the 296, a big Centennial. <fingers drumming...> A stainless M43 (22 Kit gun, lightweight).... Have to give this more thought. Hope this thread has legs...

i would like smith and wesson to come out with the model 10 in a centennial version with a 3 or 4 inch barrel. i think it would be ideal for self defense.:)

GP 100 in .22 LR with adjustable sights, choice of 4" or 6" barrel

Bisley Special Edition, Stainless, 5.5" barrel, .357 magnum

Re-introduce the .357 magnum Redhawks...

GP 100 chambered in .44 Special +P (5-shot), 3" and 4" barrel options.

That is some good news.

I would like to see Smith and Wesson build a 6 shot 4" N-Frame .357 Magnum just like the old Model 28 Highway Patrolman, except in Stainless.

All that extra steel gives you a heck of a lot of confidence when doing load development or when carrying around very stout .357 Magnum loads.

I also wish that ALL the manufacturers would go back to leaf springs in DA revolvers instead of coil springs. I don't think there's a revolver out there with a coil spring that can match the smooth pull of a leaf spring without major gunsmithing.

Lotta .41 interest, here.

Like Joe Hatley and M58 said, 3" 5-shot L-frame .41 mag. I'd even settle for a 3.3" bl. :p

I'd love to see an N-frame 5-shot .454/.45 Colt, 5" bl.

I wish Ruger would make a .45 Colt or .41 Mag Blackhawk or Vacquero with a swing-out cylinder instead of a loading gate. I'd get one in 3.5" and use it for daily carry! :)

Hmmmm, lessee...

L-frame 696 .44 Special in a 4" Mountain Gun configuration....

Ditto above in .41 Magnum....

J-frame M63 .22LR with a 3" bbl. and a partridge(or pinned-in) front sight...

K-frame M617 .22LR in a 4" MG configuration...
(That one I'm having created for me....I HOPE. :) )

SBH in 4&3/4" with fluted wheel and alloy grip-frame...

New Service 1917 Army repro from Colt would be cool, in stainless, though, but avilable with a black finish.. say with two cylinders 45 acp AND 45 Colt. better yet 44 magnum.

Still, a .357 version would be very nice too.

Would still like to see the DS and Magnum Carry back in the line up, though I've already got a Magnum Carry.

From SW I'd like 6 shot 2 inch unported 45acp revolver. No good reason, just think it would be cool.

Still think Uberti/Pietta/etc. could make a nice repro 1878 New Frontier or 1877 Lightning/Thunderer DA revolver. 38 special and .45 Colt (since no one shoots the .41 Colt anymore) Uberti has made some very NICE replicas, so why not these too?

GLOCK

A Glock Revolver 6 shot. 20 ounces.
3 inch barrel, same tenifer, same trigger, no moon clips needed.
caliber 9mm & 40. Night Sights.
Price???$350-400

More .22 choices....and with 9 shot cylinders like the Taurs 94 ...3.5 inch barrels with nice sights would be nice too...kindof like what Hutch said..

1. S&W scandium frame Bodyguard in 9mm with a short cylinder and set back barrel. 349SC?

2. S&W stainless steel, 6 shot, L-frame, square butt, 4" barrel, 9mm revolver with a short cylinder and the barrel set back, adjustable sights, using full moon clips. The ultimate IDPA revolver class gun.
