Since there seems to be a trend of posting gun show "results" I thought I'd throw a few smiles and giggles you guys way from the G&S gun show in Batesville AR this weekend.
A few memorable items:
Looked at a used blued/synthetic stock Ruger 10/22 that was bone stock except for a BC fluted heavy barrel....Hmmmm, looked for a price tag and there wasn't one so I asked the vendor (who for some reason had a little dog crawling all over the table on the guns and the rest of his wares) how much. ::drum roll::
$600
(That one really made me chuckle)
Next, I looked at a used Millet scope on a table that usually sells for around $180 online (brand new). ::drum roll::
$300
Looked at a Ruger SR 556. ::drum roll::
$1,800.
200 rounds of federal .223 55gr ammo (the kind you can get at Walmart for $40/100) ::drum roll::
$150 ::
Looked at a Ruger LCP. ::drum roll::
$360
These are just some of the "awesome" deals going along with a bunch of other junk that you'd find rummaging around at someone's garage sale.
Oh and no gun show is complete without dealers grumbling about how no one is "buying guns." LOL
Anyway, thought I'd make a few people laugh, I sure did.
