I shoot my P30 with the large blackstrap & grip plates better than any other EDC gun that I've owned. A V1 Light LEM P30SK could be the answer to my enduring problem of finding a subcompact pistol that fits my ginormous paws, that I can shoot accurately. I'm definitely interested!
Yes, they're prototypes or pre-production examples. Note the low serial numbers. The production guns should be better finished (and from HexHead's photo, it appears they are.)
Got it to the range today....finally! I ended up with a V3 DA/SA instead of the LEM version. It's just what he had in stock on that day that I picked it up. I could have waited another week for the V1, but I've been shooting and carrying decockers for several years and am quite comfortable with them. This gun is a pleasure to shoot. I find the medium back and sides are perfect for me. I shot 320 rounds through it with only one minor issue....on the very first mag through it. The slide didn't lock back. The subsequent 40 mags were fine (I don't always load them all the way in order to practice more frequent mag changes). After putting it through its paces with Freedom Munitions remanufactured 115gr, I put a box of Hornady +p Critical Duty. All shot well. I'm very happy with the purchase.
