:cuss:I think me need some help with a issue, Today while at the range with a buddy of mine I let him shoot a few rds. from my H&R single shot 300 blackout. Somehow he got a live round stuck in the barrel and the brass must be soft or something caused the ejector to jump or slip or something there is a live round stuck in the breech I took a wooden dowel and tried to tap out the round but its stuck to tight for that to happen, I see no reason for it to be stuck that tight.. any suggestion s appreciated. :banghead:

Don't use a wooden dowel it could splinter and get jammed around the bullet. Try pouring a penetrating oil down the barrel. Let it sit a few hours put the barrel in a vice and tie a string around the rim and see if you can yank it out

Go buy a brass rod at any hardware store.

Then drop it down the barrel.

The weight will knock the stuck case out.

And NEVER use a wood dowel on a pointed bullet!!!!!

If the end splits (which it will) and wedges tightly around the bullet tip into the bore?

You have created the Mother of All Barrel Obstructions!!!
