H&R Revolver ID help needed...

Customer brought in a gun last week, and I'm not exactly sure what we have here... my reference books don't cover this one explicitly.

It's a 6 shot H&R top break revolver, no caliber stamped on the gun, but I would approximate it at 32 cal, which seems to mesh up with my reference books indicating that H&R made revolvers in 22, 32 short, and 38.

The only markings on the gun are on the top of the barrel (more below), and matching 3 digit numbers on the cylinder and ejector. There is no serial number on this gun.

The top of the barrel reads:

"Harrington & Richardson Arms Company Worcester Mass. USA
Pat. Oct. 4.'87, May 14 & Aug. 6 '89, April 2, '95, April 7, 1896"

That inscription doesn't match up exactly with any of the stuff I can find in my books or online, so I'm stumped.

I'm ASSUMING that this is a black powder only revolver, and I want to make sure that any potential buyer is aware of this point if I am correct. If I'm incorrect, please tell me what I have here!

First thing that will really help, is to post some pictures.
Second thing is all H&R's had serial #'s, it may be under the grip, on left side.
The matching #'s you speak of are actually the last 3 digits of the serial #.
Third is, I am by no means an expert on these older H&R's and don;t want to give you any bogus information.
The resident expert Jim Hauff is out of commission for the time being.
Hopefully someone else with knowledge of these old H&R's will step up and help you out.
