BassPro has a H&R semi-auto 12G shotgun 28 inch barrel 3inch chamber for 289.94. This almost seems to good to be true. I know H&R is known for making single shot rifles and shotguns but not semi's. Anyone own one?

Bought my wife an Auto-Excell5 2 years ago, made in Turkey for H&R. Great gun for the price. Handles well, seems solid. They been in the gun business a loooooong time.
She took it deer hunting with the stock smoothbore barrel, shot her first deer, first shot. She was happy. And when mamma's happy............:)

They are very well made and reliable. I have two of them. They are the same shotgun as the Verona SX 405 and the Verona barrels will fit. CDNN has the 24" & 26" Verona 405 barrels for $50. The one in the picture you posted with the Remington style receiver has the best features.
