H&R Ultra Slug Gun with Nikon Slughunter 3x9 question

Recently bought 2 H&R ultra slug guns 20ga with Nikon 3x9 slughunter scopes. IF anyone has this combo can you tell me what scope rings to buy. I tried med Leupolds but they hit and would not work. Im hoping I can just copy someone who has this combo with the right rings. Thank you in advance for anyones help
