Been awhile since I have been on but I am looking for a good 223 load data using a 62gr FMJ with h335 powder also one for 55gr FMJ.

I Load h335 and FMJ for a bolt action. I wont give out a load for it but I will tell you start off with cci small rifle MAGNUM primers. I went from shooting a golf ball size 5 shot group to a quarter size 5 shot group by using cci magnum primers with h335. best thing I ever tried but of course your gun maybe different so start low and go up.

There's 55 and 62 grain H335 jacketed data on Hodgdon's site. Doesn't matter if the bullet is an FMJ or an SP. Jacketed is jacketed. Don't use the SFire data though. SFires are frangible bullets.
H335 doesn't need magnum primers.

Your manual should have plenty of data for that bullet/powder combo. If you dont own a manual, order one and in the meantime you can use the data provided by the powder supplier on their website. Nobody can just give you the perfect load for your gun. That is up to you to determine and half of the fun in reloading. Every gun is different.

5.56 with H335

I was looking over some of my load tests and FWIW, I tested factory LC 03 55 gr. FMJBT in a Colt Carbine with a 16" barrel and got an average of 3079 FPS over an Oehler 35P. Using that as a control load, I shot the same gun with a Hornady 55 fmjbt, LC10 case, Wolf SR Mag primer, with 26.0 gr. of H335 and got 3071 fps, but I worked it up from 24.0 gr. in .5 gr. increments. I stopped at 26.0 gr. because I just wanted to duplicate the factory velocity. I hope this helps some to give you an idea of where to start. I always use a chronograph and start with an average velocity of 5-10 factory loads as control loads.

Thanks guys. I sometimes have a communication problem so these loads are for a M4 carbine.

When I was trying to duplicate Federal American Eagle M193 loads I ended up at 26.5gr of H335 with an OAL of 2.250".

The old standby M193 duplication load used to be 26/335 with the 55 FMJ, and that's what I still use....but 335 went through a reformulation a while back and all reports are the current stuff is a tad faster than the old stock so it needs a bit less. Have seen mostly 25 grains listed as maximum with the new powder for about the same velocities. My 335 stock is still all of the old version and should last a while longer so everything I've got is loaded to 26 grains...even the Green Tips and they all shoot well...but you should work up your own loads starting at a safe reduced charge just to be sure. Some rifles for weird reasons just won't tolerate as hot a load as others....and you don't want to the experience of finding out what you just pulled the trigger on was too hot.:)

Similar to what RecoilRob has stated, for the 55gr FMJ bullets I've settled on 25.0 gr of H335 for all my AR rifles. I haven't worked up a load for 62gr yet, so I can't comment on those. I don't use Magnum primers, these are just plinking loads so no desire to switch primers, and they're accurate enough out of our guns for our purposes. YMMV. Work up your own loads, lots of data out there!
