Halloween Plans?

Every Year the JPFO say we should hand out Gram'Pa Jacks or Brasco the Liberty Bear books to kids with the candy.

What else is out there that we could hand out to kids that would promote RKBA and give thier parents some facts?

Let's get brainstorming NOW, so we'll be ready when Oct 31 roll around.

um..... just in case you guys forgot what it was like to be a kid - kids hate that stuff.

You give a kid a book on halloween and they're going to hate you.

I'm all for teaching kids about RKBA and their rights, but at the same time Halloween isn't the time to do it. Let them have their fun and eat their candy for the love of the holiday.

Let's not become the old grumpy dude who lives on the corner who gives out the worst stuff shall we? Every neighborhood has one.

Personally, even though it's early, my plans for Halloween are fog, strobe lights, black lights, and scaring the crap out of kids... followed by lots of candy to give out.

That's just me though.

It would make more sense to make little "bazooka joe" style comics from the JPFO and hand out that candy. Make sure it's good candy, though.

That said, Halloween is my wedding anniversary, so my plans don't involve children.

Yea I don't think so. I wouldn't try to convince a kid to do anything, cause chances are, like myself when i was young, they aren't going to listen. Besides it could create alot of trouble, so many people are closed minded these days, you start talking to their kid about that and the parents find out, even though theres nothing wrong with it, they may come over and freak out. If your looking for a fight, you will find it is what they say.

Point being, let them do what the hell they want for halloween, which involves eating and collecting the most candy they possibly can.

Yeah, you could duct tape a pro RKBA pamphlet to the outside of 10 giant kit kat bars and the kids would just rip it off and be done with that.

I've toyed with the idea of getting out some robes, putting on a ski-mask, and saying asalaamu alaykum to every passerby.

I don't think it's worth the possible trouble.

They're all very strange
Another friend of mine got married on New Year's Eve.

We have a bunch of kids on Halloween at Mom's. Good idea IMO on the little booklets. Anybody know where tog et them on-line..??

well some kids pay attention and some don't.

It seems like adding a pamphlet in the goody bag WITH some candy is not a bad idea, I'm guessing the Gram'Pa jacks is all that's out there.
