Since there is no, All of the above, and I like the kimbers, thats my vote. Second would be the sig.

This is limited by the high road ethic

As I can't read your mind or know where you live and what you want to do with this firearm, how would I have a clue to answer this question?
Rifle would make a better tent pole. Any pistol is a fine cat anchor.
Its like voting for a Democrat or a Republican without a choice of a Ron Paul.

The Obvious Answer....

Well, from most gun lovers anyway, is BUY THEM ALL! I am an enabler, if you ask me what gun from a list you should buy, I automatically consider the fact you see a need for each of them, so you might as well get them as soon as possible.

Now, my wife would say that answer is insane, or at best poor advice. But, she married me, so how much credit do you give her for good judgment?

My choice = Sig 229 -.357Sig(9mm Mag)

I love me a sig... but you know you want them all... :D

+ 1 :D

My vote was Sig 229 -9mm, but why not get it in .357Sig? You're still shooting a .355 bullet (in case your choice is due to reloading 9mm), & have more power behind it. Plus - you can buy a .40 S&W barrel for it, which will "drop right in". You won't even have to change magazines.

OH yeah.... , if you haven't noticed, most of the "Wal-mart ammo" threads talk about "the only ammo left on the shelves were .25acp, .357Sig, & nothing else.....":evil::neener:

I voted for the P229 simply because I own a 229 in .40 and the kimber being a nice gun is however totally out of my price range and I do not know anything about it or any of the others. I do however have a P6 which I have never had to the range but, if it is anything like the 229 it will hard to beat .

Model 70 .....in 270 with a walnut stock not a plastic stock. no winny should have to suffer a plastic stock on such a work of art.

Pretty darn difficult for any of us to provide you with any idea at all about what a logical choice of your next gun should be. Given this, you might want to get all of the guns on your list and be done with it, eliminating the indecision and list-making in the process. :)

I picked the SIG because I own SIG 229 in .40cal and have a .357SIG barrel if I want to change calibers. A 9mm SIG 229 doesnt use all the gun has to give IMHO.

Never fired the DW 1911 but I saw one at a local range/fun shop. It gave me a tingly feeling running up my leg!

Since there is no way for me to know what will best fill your needs, I'm voting for the firearms that I would like to have as my next tool to fill my own needs.
