Mine are just laying on the shelf. My carry is laid in there in the holster, my HD and "grab and go" pistol aren't stored in the safe.

I'm right at the point where the shelf is getting too small, but I could make good use of a rack.

Hey Rembrant is that a Ladysmith 60 I see?

Not the "Lady Smith",....but it is a model 60. (Mrs Rembrandts concealed carry). Grips are from S&W with engraved rose inserts.

I have a fair number of old "collectible" pistols along the flintlock and percussion lines that I never shoot. Looking for a space efficient way to keep 'em safe, I hit on keeping them on the trays sold in WalMart to put on your desk and keep paper in. They stack, and are made out of some kind of wire mesh. I just filled 'em with pistols and put 'em on the floor of the safe in the "wasted" area between the rifle butts.

My improvised solution: plastic vertical "letter stackers" from Office Depot. Cheap, and does the job of holding them upright in less space. For wider guns, I had to break off one vertical separator, to give them a "double wide" berth. The divider broke cleanly, thank goodness.

Not fancy, but cheap.
