Handgun vs carbine ballistics charts?

Does anyone know of any comparisons between the same ammo coming out of a carbine vs a handgun? I'm trying to find a scientific look at the energy/velocity gained from a carbine.

Your magnum revolver rounds with all that slow burning powder are where you see a big difference between pistol and rifle velocities.

DoubleTap has stats on both pistol and carbine for .44 mag, +p .45 Colt, and .454 Casull. BuffaloBore has some numbers on both for .357 mag.
