What handguns do you covet? They can be ones that you plan to buy, will never have a chance to buy (like Patton's Colt), or ones that you need to save up a lot for.

Being a realist, I'm only going to list guns that I will some day own. Let's keep the list to 5 handguns so we don't have ridiculous lists.

My 5 are (in no particular order):

1. Colt Python in mint condition
2. STI double stack 1911 (2011) - Apeiro model
3. S&W 4506 in mint condition
4. CZ P01 - to carry when I get my ccw
5. Nighthawk Custom 1911 - Global Response Pistol model

My wish list is one at a time. If I get to thinking to much ahead I get real confused.

Sooo my current wish list of one G20 is going to be filled this month. :)

No particular order:

S&W 686 4" barrel - love the way my friend's 686 shoots.

Older S&W Model 36 - as old and in as good of condition as I can find.

Sig 210 - from everything I have heard, the most accurate out of the box 9mm available and/or ever made.

S&W CS9 Stainless - I wish I had known this gun existed 2 months ago.

#5 is a tough one, some variant of CZ 75, some variant of 1911, older Browning High Power in ultra mint condition, S&W 3913, some type of pistol tricked out to "movie gun" level, Sonny Crocket's Bren Ten with credentials, many many more.....

Matte silver (factory hard chromed) Browning BDM; I know a few were made in the last year of production.

Matte silver Browning BPMD (the decocker-only version of the BDM); I don't know whether any of this particular model were made, but one can wish.

I'll stick to my realistic desires and say the SIG P220 SAO, FNH FiveseveN and a SIG 1911 of some sort.

Unrealistically I would say the SIG P210.

Mine are all fairly realistic choices:

1. Colt XSE

2. Walther PPS

3. HK45C

4. SIG 220 .45

5. HK USP40

Also, Walther PPQ, Walther P99c, SIG 226 Navy, etc., etc.

1. Beretta 92FS
2. Beretta 92FS straight dustcover
3. Beretta M9
4. Beretta 92 Inox
5. Walther PPQ

Currently, a Walther 1936 Olympia target pistol in outstanding condition. It's proving to be doggone tough to find, especially at a reasonable price.

Shipwreck: Your No. 5 selection (above) should be in the No. 1 position. :)

Hahah. Sorry... I only have eight 92s right now. I am in dire need of a few more. My numbers are too low thicon_lol.gif

I've actually owned so many different handguns over the years that only the 92 really interests me anymore...

I won;t carry a gun that isn't DA/SA at this point in my life. So, the PPQ would just be relegated to range duty only. And, I already have probably one of the world's most accurate 9mms that only does range duty (a $3k 9mm 1911). So, I honestly don't really need another range toy. I hardly shoot that 1911 as it is - I mainly shoot one of my 92s on most range trips...

in no particular order

S&W 686 plus (5" barrel, 7 rounds)
Beretta 92FS with threaded barrel (yippie for legalized supressors in MI)
Remington 1958 C&B revolver

Probably more, but these three have been on the list for awhile.

I think there's only 2 on my list.

1. Mateba .357 with 6" barrel. I imagine eventually buying one.

2. HK P7M7. If they even exist, I'd like to own one.

A Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver, .38 ACP

A Browning Medalist .22 automatic

A Dardick .38 Magazine Revolver

A Gyrojet 11mm Rocket Pistol

The PPQ is a DA/SA but with a striker with the AS system.

This is more like my short-list:
Ruger Security Six
Browning Buck Mark Stainless Steel Camper
S&W 66, 66-1, 67 or 67-1
(maybe) Kimber 1911

And the ultimate dream Colt Python (there's one at GunsAmerica--if I didn't eat for a whole year i could afford it)
