Handtrucks to the range?

Quite a few lash their gun cases to handtrucks.

As I tell my kids: we are homo sapiens. We have brains. While other animals are big and strong and can carry much more, we rely on our brains to figure out a way to carry far more than our frail bodies can handle. We invented wheeled things to make our lives easier.

I keep a smalled foldup wheeled hand cart in my trunk. It is used at the beach, at the range, at the park, anywhere where I have to carry lots of stuff.

I picked up one of these just prior to a gun show a few months ago, where I was planning to get several cases of ammo. (U of Phoenix Stadium, parking about 1/4 mile away...) Made it much easier to haul the three cases of 7.62x39, one of .45, one of .38SP, one of 9mm, and some random .22,

Have also used it for the range several times.

I use a gun cart for SASS matches, what with needing to carry guns, ammo, tools, snacks, water, spare parts, and sometimes spare guns as well. I'll probably do the same if I ever make it to a three gun match. The cart seems overkill for USPSA matches though, so I just tote the range bag there. For casual messing about at the range, though, I'll just pull up close and carry. Easier than setting the cart up, since I'm driving either an economy car or two seater drop top, neither of which is famous for carrying capacity.
