Happy Mother's (Range) Day

Mother's day at the in-laws. Too nice to sit around inside, so I asked the kid if he wanted to bring his Ruger MKIV (yeah, the aqua blue one) and get some more time with the Swamp Fox optic @LeftyRed was so kind to gift him.




One impromptu backyard range and about 100 rounds later, I let him back up to 40 yards.
The ones around the head were mine, from the LCPII .22 at 15 yards, 10 closest to the bull are his at 15 yards, the ones that are above the bull are his 40 yard shots. He also went 20/20 on the 8" steel at 40 yards. I went 5/20 at 40 yards with the LCPII

I'm sure mama and the M.I.L. weren't thrilled, but nobody came looking for us.

I'll have to look and see which mount it is but I should have the paperwork at home. It was in the box with the optic when LeftyRed gave it to him and I didn't really pay attention.

I'm going to shoot it off a rest and see if I can't get dialed in a little better when I get a chance.
