I went by and picked up a small 1800 yesterday, a 2800, and a 3800. While the coupon says "Limit 1 per customer per day" I had two Harbor Freights close enough to me to just make a loop while on errands. I didn't provide my contact information on the second stop and payed by a different method just to avoid any questions "Sir, the computer indicates you bought a larger case 15 minutes ago...."

I've used these for several years for guns, knives, medical kits, tool kits and have been satisfied with them (enough so I transport my CPAP in one when traveling). I'm not going to park a 5 Ton on one so I'm not concerned they won't withstand that level of abuse after they've survived baggage handlers and bouncing around in trunks and truck beds.

They certainly make for a handy way to transport knives and guns to/from shows.

BTW, getting those labels off is easy if you have some yellow bottle Ronson lighter fluid. Put just a little on the sticker and wait ten minutes. Use an old credit card like a scraper and just slide it under the sticker and lift it off. Wipe with a rag with a very small amount of Ronson on it and you'll be free of any residue.

I have four of them, I prefer them to several other brands of case that I have.

I admit that I do add a bit more foam underneath the top and bottom eggcrate, then I glue it in. I sandwich the guns in the case between the foam rather than use the pluck foam to make pockets for the guns to sit in. The larger cases can tote 6 full sized handguns easily, the mid sized one four 4” K frames or commander 1911’s.

Obviously Pelican is the premium brand of molded cases and their stuff is very, very nice, but the cost per case can get kind of extreme. :(

Stay safe.

I think they are reasonable cases for a reasonable price. I wouldn't trust one to the airlines, however, because of the weaker latches. It was half the cost of the basically identical Cabela's case, but the Cabela's case has some features that are worth it, like locking latches.

Got two of the larger pistol sized cases.
The foam flat out sucks. After the first range trip it was junk. Will be replacing with a higher quality of foam.

Pretty nice cases for the back of the pick up. For airline use I would not trust them. For everyday range trips they are to heavy in my opinion...
