Hard to release mag on S&W 6906 with hogue grip

I put a new hogue grip on my S&W 6906, I love the feel of the grip however I find it hard to release the magazine for a quick reload while practicing on the range. Do they make an extension for the mag release button? or any other suggestions.

Don't have any problems releasing the mag from my 6906, neither does my wife.

On my own 6946 with factory grips, the button is slightly above the grip. Your grip crowds the button very closely, with the button also appearing to sit below the grip. Try trimming away and/or thinning down the material around the button.

I agree with The Lone Haranguer- try a little judicious trimming. I will say, however, that although most of my more than a few handguns sport after-market grips, my 6906 is one pistol that I couldn't really improve over the stock ones.
