I am looking for a Harris Bipod. I want one mainly for benchrest and prone shooting. I don't know how practical or stable a bipod would be for any shooting other than that. Additionally, I want one that swivels. Which model and heights do you recommend? Also, will I need any adapters or anything special to mount the bipod. It will be used on a Winchester M70 with synthetic stock, M70 with wood stock, and a CZ452 with wood stock. These three rifles already have swivel studs. Thanks.

6"-9" for bench shooting. I also don't like the swivel version for benchshooting. Use the rear bag for adjustments.

U could also get the Pod-Loc system that replaces the swivel adjustment screw in the Harris. Sort of like a little ratchet system that keeps it from swiveling unexpectedly.

Can you describe the Pod Loc system? Will it impede the bipod's ability to swivel? Thanks.
